Una nueva letra, esta vez de su último álbum, Octavarium. Se trata de "I walk beside you", el tercer corte. Es un tema con una influencia clarísima de U2 (que nunca han ocultado, pero que esta vez es prácticamente demasiado evidente), con una letra escrita por John Petrucci. Interpretada a mi manera, me llega mucho, especialmente estos últimos días.

La interpretación más clara que creo que se puede hacer es que trate sobre un tema religioso, que dios te acompañe (sabiendo que John es creyente y ya en Awake mostraba letras de ese estilo), aunque yo la veo como una descripción de lo que es ( o debería ser) la amistad.

Nueva letra, otra vez de Kevin Moore. "Lie" es el 8 tema de "Awake" (1994), un tema con bastante mala leche, tanto musicalmente como en la letra.

Space-Dye Vest (Nuevo tema... )

Inauguro este nuevo tema, donde pondré las letras que más me gustan de Dream Theater. Empezaré con Space-Dye Vest, el último corte de Awake (1994), compuesta, tanto la letra como la música, por Kevin Moore. Como curiosidad decir que este tema no se ha tocado en directo nunca, debido a que justo después de grabar este álbum Kevin decidió dejar la banda, y los demás no quisieron tocarla nunca por ser un tema enteramente suyo.
